We are excited to share our 2026–2027 Tutoring School Year at a Glance Calendar!
Please note: This calendar is ONLY for students who have been accepted into and are currently enrolled in Southside Elementary's tutoring program. Tutoring is not open to all students at this time.
Our tutoring program began on October 5, 2026, and will continue through May 13, 2027.
For families with students participating in tutoring, please review the attached calendar and keep it handy throughout the school year.
How to Read the Calendar:
⭐ Yellow Stars: Mark the first and last days of tutoring.
🩷 Pink Circles: Indicate days when there will be NO tutoring.

Join us on Thursday, October 1 for our Lights On: Launch Your Learning, 21st Century Tutoring Kickoff!
Families will have the chance to see what our afterschool program is all about through fun, hands-on learning stations, including reading activities, math challenges, homework-help resources, STEM fun, and student goal-setting. Students can collect stamps in their Learning Passport and turn in their completed passport for a prize!
This free family event is a wonderful opportunity to learn how Southside’s 21st Century afterschool program supports students as they grow in confidence, build academic skills, and shine bright. 🌟

Please plan for your child’s transportation and afternoon arrangements accordingly. We have attached the school calendar as a helpful reminder of the additional professional-development early-out days scheduled throughout the school year.

Parents and guardians, please be advised that Infinite Campus will be offline for a scheduled database update beginning Friday, June 19 at 5:00 p.m. through Friday, June 26 at 5:00 p.m.
During this outage, the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, including Online Registration, will be unavailable.
In addition, Central Office staff will not be able to process DMV Certification of Attendance forms or student transcripts while the system is offline.
Please also note that district offices will be closed tomorrow in observance of Juneteenth.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as these important system updates are completed.
